| thanks Cassie - I am sure you could do a vegan version - most scone recipes in Australia don't have eggs anyway and you can always substitute margarine for butter - just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration last night as I made a version of Celia Brooks Brown's laksa which was perfect for a hot night - will post on it soon I hope as have been meaning to make laksa for ages but your timing was just right! |

| Our favourite pumpkin recipe is to roughly grind some cumin and coriander seeds, briefly fry, and add wedges of onion and cubes of pumpkin. Bake in oven for about 20 minutes, add some soya sauce, honey and chopped chilli. 5 minutes before it's cooked, add some cooked chickpeas or kidney beans. |
